That wasn't the last of his errors as he committed another three minutes after the first one. This time, he laid a pass directly to Gundogan who should have shot the ball into the net but instead, he passed to sterling who scored his hundredth goals under pep Guardiola.

Sterling's goal made him the third player to have scored 100 goals under pep management with the first two being Messi and Aguero. That goal seems to kill all iota of morale-building in the Liverpool team and that led to another goal in the 83rd minute.
