7th of February, 2020 is a day to forget for Becker in the Liverpool goalposts as his mistakes cost his side the match. While the match appeared to be balanced up to the 72nd minutes, five minutes of madness from the Red's goalie resulted in Liverpool shipping two goals in the 73rd minute and 76 minutes.
The first half of the game was a boring affair as it ended in a goalless draw. Although they were moments where the scoreline should have changed, chances were not been taking. That wasn't the last of his errors as he committed another three minutes after the first one. This time, he laid a pass directly to Gundogan who should have shot the ball into the net but instead, he passed to sterling who scored his hundredth goals under pep Guardiola.
Sterling's goal made him the third player to have scored 100 goals under pep management with the first two being Messi and Aguero. That goal seems to kill all iota of morale-building in the Liverpool team and that led to another goal in the 83rd minute. The foal came from a rocket shot from Foden who has been developing nicely undér the Guardiola mentorship. The game ended in a 4-1 victory for pep and that makes man city five-point clear at the top of the table while also extending their lead against Liverpool to 10 points while a
