It is of no argument that what both players did was right as they see it fit but the impact it is likely to have against the tournament sponsors has been huge and worth talking about.

Ronaldo and Pogba antics have caused the sponsors of the tournament a lot of many and yet they will walk away unsanctioned and without a fine. So many financial experts and journalist has frowned at both men actions and also questioned the way UEFA has handled this cases. Many see it as a breach of contract.

One of the concerned people was of the opinion that in the United States of America, both players would have been sanctioned or at least fined. As sponsors of the event, the players should have adhered to the sponsor's rules and also comply because these organisations part with lots of funds to these sides the countries this player represents.

Also, many believed that Pogba wanted to thread just as Ronaldo did and he used religion as a cover-up for his actions. Many people took to social media to bash him saying that they are lots of stuff he has been doing that are against his religion before now and yet he is doing it.
