The English FA receives Backclash for Cavani ban

Cavani was handed a three-match ban by the FA for saying a presumed racist chant. Cavani protested his innocence saying that the world used denotes friendship. Well, according to the player culture and background as an Uruguayan, the word truly denotes that. The Uruguayan sports association wrote a press release to support Cavani and many other stars to show their displeasure in the Fa decision. The sacking of Thomas Tuchel in December was surprising and came as shock to many. It was thought that he overachieved in his role as a head coach in the PSG camp. When his successor was announced, it turned out to be the former Tottenham manager. Mauricio Pochettino is a good fit for a club with PSG status and he has tipped to succeed. His arrival has also sparked a rumor of his former player Dele Ali joining the club.

Covid is still out there

The pandemic continues to disrupt how the football game is been played. The Aston villa versus Liverpool match was played even when the Villa backroom didn't want to play. Almost all their first team were infected with the virus. They had to play there under 23 side. Of course, they lost 4-1 to a Liverpool side who fielded their best team.
