This season has been a rather disappointing one for Liverpool. The current English Premier League champions began the season on a high note looking like they were going for a back to back league win, but then slumped along the way. Due to some lackluster performances, the club has suffered back to back defeats, needless goals caused by defensive errors and a general lack of motivation in the team.

One man who still shines on though is Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian winger has somehow maintained his wonderful goalscoring form even on the worst days with the Reds. Ever since his arrival, Salah has been a prolific presence in front of goal. The most amazing thing about him however, is the fact that he remains a consistent threat to oppositions year in year out.

The forward still continued as a model of consistency as he scored his 20th goal of the season against Newcastle on Saturday, 24th of April, the third time he'll be doing so in the past three seasons. And although the game ended 1-1, Salah would be consoled by the fact that he has set a new record at Liverpool, being the first player in the club's history to score 20 or more goals in three different seasons. Even during what has been described as a testing campaign for Liverpool and their management, Salah still remains a force to be reckon with.
