The Captain of the Three Lions and Tottenham's talisman, Harry Kane, once again proved why he is rated as one of the best strikers in the world as his winning goal ushered Tottenham into the final of the ongoing Euros competition.

Having gone behind in the first half courtesy of a goal of the competition contender from Denmark's Mikkel Darmsgaard, England already knew that the day would be needing a lot of hardwork to seize. Gareth Southgate lineup which was once again spearheaded by Harry Kane up front and supported by Raheem Sterling and Arsenal's Bukayo Saka on both wings proved to be very fruitful as the duo combined well enough to earn their side's first goal which was finished by Kjaer in Denmark's defence as an own goal.

The second half was once again full of chances, tension and good participation from all players but ended at a stalemate with England being significantly in charge of the game. Extra time wasn't to go that way also as Sterling's continuous dashes on the right flank eventually yielded the ultimate result, a penalty. Kane stepped up and saw his shot saved by Kasper Schmiechel in Denmark's goal but a rebound saw him put it into the back of the net and put England ahead.

Quite a thriller that one was but it ended 2-1 in favour of England. The Three Lions would now go on to face Italy on the 10th of July as they look to win their first major trophy in two generations.
