Robert Lewandowski has been in very fine form this season already racking up 40 goals in the German Bundesliga and champions League this season. Having picked up a knock on international duty with Poland, his side Bayern Munich have been forced to endure some games without his killer presence up front.

PSG are one of the toughest opponents the Bavarians have faced so far this season and having lost the first leg 2-3 at home, they were very much hoping to see their talisman present when they travel to the Parc Des Princes.

As it stands though, Robert Lewandowski is most likely going to miss the return leg. The Polish striker returned to doing light training with his side but is still a bit too far from return to play by Tuesday when his side faces the Parisiens. When asked about if he'll be able to play against the French champions Lewandowski clearly stated that No, [next week] is still too early". "I'll do everything I can to get back on the pitch, but only when I feel really good and safe. It's not a good feeling to sit at home."

His replacement for the time being, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has been impressive as well. His goal in the first leg against PSG was helpful in sustaining his club's hope of defending their Champions league title. He'll however be required to produce a stellar performance along with the rest of his teammates if a comeback is to be made on Tuesday night.
