Yes the season has not ended and Liverpool has not been crowned Champions yet. But if you had asked anyone for a prediction where you thought Liverpool would be at this stage of the season I'm sure it wouldn't be here. They were so close to breaking Arsenal's Invincibles record, and they are just awaiting confirmation of their title win should the league choose to continue where it left off.

.........................................

They sure have had a stellar season and they really have outdone themselves. But now the question is, can they replicate this form next season.

To answer this question, we have to look at their players. Liverpool manages to maintain their squad for two years, but now I think other big teams will begin knocking on the door. We hear that Real Madrid might be interested in Sadio Mane, and Barcelona might also be interested in Salah. If these two leave, the goal scoring power house of the side will be tamed, and they will grow weak. Also we are seeing players like Henderson and Milner growing older and getting close to retirement. These two are strong forces that maintain stability in the team.

If the team can retain a chunk of the current Champions League and soon to be Premier League winning side, I think they can do well next season. But if the team starts depleting, they might just sink into the hole they are coming out from.
