Manchester United held on for a famous 1-1 draw against Liverpool, which will long be remembered as one that stopped Liverpool from equalling Manchester City's record of 19 Premier league wins.

To be very honest, the match is one that Man Utd fans should look back on with a lot of pride because their team showed the stuff of champions even though they have so far had a shitty season. They played Liverpool fearlessly and made the league leaders who are still unbeaten this season pay for their sloppiness. The Red devils definitely didn't play like the underdogs that many touted them to be, and Liverpool had to wait till late in the second half to break down their defences.

However, Manchester United's performance makes us wonder of there is still hope for Ole Gunner Solkjaer and the team in general. Their display on Sunday showed us the potential that the team possessed and what they could do. Ole before saw the match as just what they needed to give the team a confidence boost and it might end up doing just that. I see Manchester United bouncing back from their horrible season and playing like a top four team that they are meant to be.

Now let's watch and see if they live up to my expectations. Do you think so too?
