Olivier Giroud this season has largely been an unused substitute by Frank Lampard, with the English man preferring to start young star Tammy Abraham in place of the veteran striker. Giroud is one player that we all know of the threat he possesses. He is a very physical player who challenges a lot of defenders and gives them a tough time.

..........

Giroud has so far had a beautiful International scoring two goals in France's last two games against Iceland where he scored the only game of the game for France to win 1-0. Then he also scored in their last game against Turkey where they played a 1-2 draw with Giroud scoring the equalizer for France. I definitely want to see Giroud play more often and if that means him leaving Chelsea I stand with his decision.

The plays has already come out to say he is considering leaving Chelsea for a chance to play regular football. Clearly Frank Lampard's faith will remain the youngsters among whom Tammy Abraham is chief, and he even prefers to field Batshuayi ahead of Giroud. While I have no problems with Frank Lampard's choice of forwards, I believe both Abraham and Batshuayi are wonderful talents but I also want to see Giroud play more often. I have missed watching those his headed goals and last minute strikes to break the hearts of opposing fans. I know that a coach will not change a winning lineup so I don't really expect Frank Lampard to change his lineup so I wouldn't really be surprised if Giroud packs up and leaves Chelsea. I would be sad to see him leave the club but I would also be happy that now he would have more playing time and in the end that is ultimately what I want for the Frenchman.

I am a Liverpool fan and I am not supposed to be concerned about our rivals team but Giroud is one player I have come to love and respect over the years for his prowess even when he has not being fully utilized throughout his career. I would love for him to at least end his career on a bang.
