Mohammed Salah has proven himself overtime to be one of the best and deadliest strikers in the World. His speed, agility and ability to torment defenders was something that Liverpool really missed against Manchester United. We missed seeing a long ball from Trent Arnold and in a flash, Salah is off on the flanks and he gives Mane and Firmino time to get into position. Liverpool truly missed this against Manchester United.

Many think Virgil Van Dijk is the centre of the team, but I think Sundays match showed us otherwise. In their Champions League match this evening against Genk, Liverpool played very different and much better. I think Salah is the centre of the team. The team is hinged on him. They controlled a major part of ball possession against Manchester United but didn't do anything with it. But against Genk, they were more precise and more direct. Its little wonder they won 4-1 away from home. Those quick and pacy runs from the wings by Salah were something that Liverpool missed against Man Utd and even though Original tried to fill in for him, they still missed it.

The match against Manchester Unite showed me and many Liverpool fans that without Mohammed Salah that Liverpool team is a bit toothless. Yes they have Mane and Firmini and Original and a host of other strikers but that team and the attack is built around Mo. Salah and he carries it on his back. What do you think though, do you think this is true?
