Liverpool continued to show their Champions material last night, winning a resolute Genk side 2-1 at Anfield. In a match that many critics will describe as drab and boring, Liverpool showed class and that can win even when they don't play exciting and high tempo football that they have been characterized with. They deservedly top their group after losing on match day one to Napoli. They have bounced back to win all their subsequent matches and are rightly topping the group.

In a very interesting match, Borussia Dortmund also came back from 2-1 down to win against Inter Milan 3-2. They had to dig really deep and came back with a stellar second half performance deserving of a win. Even with the notable miss of their Captain Marco Reus, the team did really well for themselves and gave us a good game of world class football.

Chelsea under Frank Lampard also continued their good run of form with a draw against the highly talented Ajax. The Chelsea team had to come back from a 3-1 deficit to draw the game 4-4. The team is one that has been doing well under Frank Lampard both domestically and in Europe and many will hope for the good form to continue.

Let's hope the trend of world class games continue in the Champions League
