In the history of the English Premier League, only one team has been rewarded for winning the League with a Golden Trophy and a silver crown. But what exactly did they to deserve such a Prestigious recognition??

Arsenal in the 2004 season, went the whole season without losing a single match. They had a total of 26 wins and 12 draws and finished the league with a total of 90 points. The English FA were so proud of this accomplishment that they gave Arsenal a gift a gift that had not been given to any team prior to that time. While some teams have gone on to have more than that points tally since Arsenal's Invincibles season, no team had managed to go unbeaten. Many will remember Manchester City's very successful season where they ended the League with 100 points but they lost some matches along the way. Perhaps Liverpool and Chelsea were the closest to break this record. Chelsea first looked like they were going to break it while Eden Hazard was still at the club, but they ended up losing a match to Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool's attempt is still the freshest in the memory because it happened just last season. Liverpool ended the season with 99 points and just one loss to Manchester City cost them the Record and the EPL title.

But this season I strongly believe that Liverpool will finally break that record. They are currently still unbeaten in the League and have only dropped points once in a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford. I strongly believe Liverpool will break the record this season and you can put your money on that.
