Bagus Kahfi scored Indonesia's first goal after grabbing M. Salman's cross from the left. A good kick in front of the Timor Leste goalkeeper failed to be blocked by goalkeeper Marcio Dores.

Indonesia increased the lead to 2-0 in the 73rd minute. Sutan Zico, who entered in the second half scored after grabbing a good drag from the right side.

During the injury period, Bagus enlarged Indonesia's advantage to 3-0. He scored after he first defeated the opponent's defender. The score lasts until the match ends.

These results make Indonesia top of Group A with 12 points from four matches. Indonesia also ensured that they advanced to the semifinals, after their points were confirmed that they could only be followed by one from Vietnam or Myanmar, the second and third with nine points respectively. Vietnam and Myanmar will face each other in the last group stage match.

Indonesia will still leave another match against Cambodia. The match will take place on August 6 at the Gelora Delta Stadium, Sidoarjo.
