MY STORY
As said earlier my name is luqman Gilmore, a Nigerian international football player currently plying my trade in Georgia (Fc Dinamo Tbilisi)
I started football on the street as a normal Nigerian footballer, playing on the street bear footed, from there to school football and later join an academy (AACC FC) I played in this academy until I got my first trial outside Nigeria after and impressive tournament where I won most valuable player, fast track to my trial with STOKE CITY
I had a three days trial with stoke city after which the coaches and the management all were impressed with my talent, I was 16 at the time and I was immediately drafted to the u21 but due to the immigration law for the African under age I couldn't get my contract signed and from stoke city I was invited to the Nigeria national u17 team where I was part of the the squad that qualified the nation for the world cup alongside my friends KELECHI IHEANACHO, WILFRED NDIDI,ISAAC SUCCESS among many others
To cut the long story short ,I have had my dark side if the game I love so much from missing out of the squad to the u17 world cup to not able to make stoke city deal a permanent, missing out of the u23 dream team for Olympics to some unsuccessful spell in Portugal, Italy and Spain but all these disappointment I never let them define me ,I keep working hard for what I want most in life which is to become a professional player, I keep working hard and stay grounded ,sometimes when I see my mates at the top and see where I was it want to break me but I believe so much in me and what I can do...I keep grinding and praying ...
January 2018 I had a chance to go for trial at a professional club in Georgia, Fc Dila Gori I was with them on trial for almost two month and at the end we couldn't strike a deal ,I stepped down to play for a division3 side fc imereti khoni and the rest was history ,I played there for 4 months and I become the talk of the country, many clubs started calling and when the we had mid season break I received a call from the biggest club in Georgia FC DINAMO TBILISI
I had my trial and to God be the glory I get my first proffesional contract,
I am on scorum because it's a very interesting and educating platform and am looking forward to bring in some of my team mates to contribute to the growth of scorum,
