Arsenal won the match and secured another three points, but I was less impressed with the boys' performance. This didn't look anything like the team that won the first match of the season 0 -3 away to Fulham.

Alexandre Lacazette had given Arsenal a lead at the Emirates with a firm header from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's cross, before the visitors equalized through goal by Michail Antonio moments before the break.

Arsenal rode their luck at times after that, but finally got the winner late on when 77th minute substitute Eddie Nketiah was in the right place at the right time to tuck in Dani Ceballos's cross after a fine build-up play.

The performance was not good compared to last week. We have to give credit to West Ham, they came with a game plan and they played very well.To be honest, the best team loss the match. I am an Arsenal fan but sometimes we have to hold up our hands and tell the team the bitter truth: their performance was ugly! It was not good.

But at the end what really matters is the scoreline, the three points and they got that. There will be bumps on the road, we don’t expect a perfect run, there will be losses and challenges but we need to be able to grind out a favorable results.

Arsenal are one of three teams to have grabbed all points from their opening two games in the 2020/21 Premier League campaign so far. However, I believe they are still some way off being genuine title contenders, they need to improve.
