Former Premier League midfielder, Gary O'Neil has left his position as Liverpool U-23 manager after six months in charge. He joined the Reds youth set-up in August, 2020 and worked as an assistant to Barry Lewtas.

Gary O'Neil is set to join Bournemouth as one of the coaching staffs of Jonathan Woodgate, who is full of admiration and praise for the young coach.

This was confirmed by Liverpool in a statement which reads "Everybody at LFC would like to thank Gary for his work at the Academy and wish him all the best for the future".
