Wesley Sneijder stops as an international player of the Dutch National Team after the upcoming match against Peru on Thursday-evening. He played 133 games for the National team in which he scored 31 goals. In his impressive career, he played for Ajax, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Galatasaray, OGC Nice and now ending his career at Al-Gharafa. He played a total of 567 matches in which he scored 149 goals.
In his long career, the midfielder has worked with many top players, so he was asked to put up his dream-team of former teammates. This is the result!

After he went through Ajax's youth academy he made his debut in the year 2003. After some successful years winning the Dutch Championship and some National Cups he was sold for €27 million to Real Madrid in 2007. Who would not choose Cristian Chivu and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for their dream-team ;-)??
Real Madrid: Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and Guti
After winning the Primera Division in his debut season 2007/2008 he became unnecessary the next year and was sold to Inter Milan for €15 million. Despite his short stay at Real Madrid, he selected 3 players for his dream-team (I can not blame him :-).. good choice!).
Inter Milan: Julio Cesar, Javier Zanetti, Dejan Stankovic and Samuel Eto'o
the season of 2009/2010 must be one the most successful years out of his career. Let by coach José Mourinho Inter Milan won the Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Champions League (Beating Bayern Munich with 2-0) no surprise 4 players of his dream-team are from Inter Milan.
Dutch National Team: Clarence Seedorf and Arjen Robben
He debuted in the Dutch National Team in the year 2003, his mentor Clarence Seedorf prepared him to become a captain himself and so he was for many years. Together with Arjen Robben, he had some very successful years, with the year 2010 being the most successful as Runner-up at the World Championship in South Africa. Again two great choices.
