With the current challenge Arsenal football team is facing due to low performance, it has been decided that their wages will be cut by 25% if the team should relegate to Championship level. If Arsenal should be relegated from the Premier League to Championship, the club incomes will decrease and a lot of sponsors will be lost, Currently, the squad's annual salary is £150 million and cannot be covered if relegation happens.

Arsenal are having their worst time this seasonas they are currently sitting on 15th place in the league with no win in seven games, recording 4 wins, 2 draws, 8 losses, and a total of 14 points, They are so close to the relegation zone and if care is not taken they wouldn't see it through.

The team is currently facing Chelsea on Boxing day, followed by Brighton Hove Albion and West Bromwich and they are expected to claim at least six to seven points in this three encounter in other to be on a safer side to avoid being relegated.

Though, There is still more than half of the season left and it is too early to talk about relegation, Arsenal will bounce back and move away from the relegation zone.
