For Saturday's late Premier League match against Leeds, Chelsea lined up very offensively with players like Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Olivier Giroud. The latter came into focus when the Frenchman after half an hour of play equalized to 1-1 after a proposal from the offensive back Reece James.

Before that, Leeds had scored after just four minutes of play by Patrick Bamford after a great pass from Kalvin Phillips in a first half with lots of good play and many chances.

Chelsea took the lead with 2-1, but the goal was not scored by one of the forward players but the central defender Kurt Zouma who scored from a corner kick. In addition to the goal, Giroud came to several great chances, which the Frenchman abused before substituted. Christian Pulisic made it 3-1 from a nice pass recieved from Timo Werner.
