Sergio Ramos has a contract expiration this summer and the parties are currently trying to agree on a contract to keep the 34 year old defender at the Santiago Bernabéu, but Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez and Sergio Ramos do not agree on salary or length of the new contract.

According to the report, "Los Blancos" are ready to offer the Spanish national team captain an extension of one year, but with a salary reduction of ten percent to help the club through the difficult financial time right now. Sergio Ramos on the other hand want an extension of two years for the same wages he is getting now.

The Spanish Defender has been at Real Madrid for over 15 years, and he has played a total of 668 games, as well as scoring 100 goals for the club. In addition, in the same period, Sergio Ramos has helped win four Champions League titles, five La Liga titles and more.
