Eric Bailly, Brandon Williams, Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial have a hard time seeing a future at Old Trafford under Solskjær. Bailly has lost his place among the Norwegian's favorite 11, where Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelöf have established themselves centrally in Manchester United's defense. Most recently, Bailly should have been mad that he was overlooked for the showdown in away game against AC Milan. Bailly contract expires in the summer of 2022 and the media believes Bailly will reject an extension.

Talented Brandon Williams, who made his breakthrough in Manchester United has only achieved few minutes of play in the league. He had suggested a loan or a permanent transfer after this season.

Dutch Donny van de Beek was one of the big signing this summer for the club. However, he has more than a hard time finding the level from the Ajax era. The few times he has been given the chance have not convinced him of his qualities either and he has often been used in various positions in midfield.

Jesse Lingard already left United in January when he was loaned out to West ham and he has already convinced them with his qualities, so David Moyes hopes he can sign Lingard permanently.
