22-year-old Weston McKennie was signed on a free transfer by Schalke 04, and thus he is extending his stay at the Italian big club Juventus until 2025 on a permanent deal. The Italians signed the talented midfielder back in August last year, and in the short time he has impressed a lot at the club. With 31 matches in all tournaments and five goals and two assists which he has already made himself popular with the fans.

In 2016, the American rejected a contract with Dallas in his home country to take the trip to Europe and more specifically Schalke 04 in Germany. In his first season in German he only played a single appearance but the following season he made his breakthrough with as many as 25 appearances.

The deal is believed to cost Juventus up to €18.5 million with the possibility of additional payments depending on the American's performance.
