Last summer Real Madrid signed Brazilian youngster Vinicius Junior from Flamengo but let him stay with his native club for another year before he turns 18. At the time he was just a promising teenager but now he shows signs of being able to break into Real Madrid squad. The guy was born on July 12, 2000 to a poor family and struggled to make a choice between futsal and football. He finally passed a test to Flamengo academy at the age of 10 and stayed with the team for 8 years. At the age of 16 he was tied up by his first professional contract and managed to prove his worth both at the club and playing for the national youth teams. In 2017 Real Madrid scouts were impressed by the youngster and offered Flamengo €45 million for the player. Club bosses were happy to sell him but Vinicius had to wait another year to turn 18 and move to Europe.
