Super Eagles first-choice stopper, Stanley Nwabali, has lost his mother months after the death of his father. The 28-year-old, who gained recognition following his remarkable performance at the AFCON—where he notably saved two penalties against South Africa in the semi-finals—shared the heartbreaking news on his official X page. "Rip Mom! Officially the worst year of my life already."
The Chippa United goalkeeper also lost his father in November last year and was excused from camp during the AFCON qualifiers to grieve.
