About 1999-2001 Mat Zan Mat Aris can be said to be a terrified coach in Malaysia. 1999 he brought Kuala Lumpur the trophy winner Malaysia FA Cup after defeating Terengganu..After that,Terengganu brought him to The Turtles,and he gave first medal to Terengganu, Sumbangsih Cup defeating the Malaysia cup 2000 winner, Perak with result 4-0. And he strikes again,gave Terengganu the most wanted Malaysia Cup after dramatic final Malaysia Cup 2001 against Perak with result 1-2.

2013-2014 HARIMAU MUDA B (ASSISTANT COACH)

Harimau Muda B is a team for young players under 21. Mat Zan helped the development of young players such as Nazirul Naim, Farhan Abu Bakar, Syawal Nordin, Kenny Pallraj, Syahrul Azwari, Syahwan Syahlan at S.League Singapore.And eventually most of them became a important player after leaving the Harimau Muda (Young Tiger).

2015 MELAKA UNITED HISTORY : ENDED 32 YEARS WAIT WITHOUT TROPHIES

Mat Zan made history to Melaka United after leading Melaka to win FAM League for the first time in history and ended the 32-year wait without a title. The last time since 1983

After that, he helped Melaka United promoted to first domestic Malaysia League, Malaysia Super League on 2016.
