Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti said he was disappointed with his team's defeat at the promotion club, Parma. According to the former AS Roma coach, his team could win the match if they were able to take advantage of the opportunities that were obtained.

"This is a painful defeat. When you only get four points from four matches on a schedule like this, it's hard to find an excuse," Spalletti told Inter's official website.

"We do the right thing, we always play in the Parma area but obviously we need to do more than what we do. It's all my responsibility if the players don't show their best potential," he continued.

Inter Overthrown by Parma, Spalletti: It's painful!

"I don't see this team as a weak team. The players work well and with the right attitude. We throw away too many easy opportunities given the quality we have. We have to stay solid, stay calm, and learn to take advantage of the smallest opportunities. "he said.

This defeat makes La Beneamata stuck in 15th position of the Serie A standings with a collection of four points from four matches. The only Nerazzurri victory came when visiting Bologna.
