I need your help!
As you may or may not know, soccer (football) is not a very popular sport here in America. I was first introduced to the EPL and World Cup soccer around 14 years ago by a friend, and I immediately understood what the fuss was all about. I began cheering for Norwich, who were soon relegated. I then began rooting for Manchester United because I loved watching Wayne Rooney play.
I recently joined @lawlees' Fantasy Premier League, and I'm looking forward to an incredible EPL season. After watching the World Cup without a team to root for (U.S. didn't qualify), I am in desperate need of a team to cheer for all season and I need your help.
Help Me Choose A Premier League Club
I am asking you to recommend an EPL club to cheer for all season long. I will become a dedicated fan, will likely purchase a T-shirt, write articles about the club on Scorum, and follow each match.
I am not looking to simply cheer for the best team in the league. In fact, I would prefer an underdog or a team on the rise rather than root for the favorite to win the league. Below in the comments, please tell me in detail why I should cheer for a certain team. Every detailed response will receive an upvote (from 1-20%). Whoever has the most convincing argument and is able to talk me into cheering for a specific team will receive a full upvote on their comment, and two future votes on their content (as long as they are quality posts).
