After a week full of EPL action on Boxing Day, we're back with another full weekend of action and I'm taking a slightly different approach to my picks after another disappointing showing. Although I did have a nice win in Leicester over Manchester City, I once again lost much more than I won. Keep in mind that my picks below are not betting advice, simply the picks I personally like for this weekend.

Stats from Last Week:

Wins: 4

Losses: 12

Previous week: 3-11

As I mentioned above, I'm taking a different approach. Instead of trying to pick nearly every game, I'm becoming more selective and I'll only be placing bets on the matches I have a strong opinion on. I will also be betting larger amounts on the games I'm the most confident on, which could be a very good or very bad thing.

Although I'm battling a cold, I decided to share my picks in a video. Enjoy the interruption from my cat Nacho. Here are my picks.

Watch My Picks

If you didn't watch the video, here's a short summary of my picks:

12/29/2018

Watford vs. Newcastle

Neither team has looked like they are in their best form, but Watford is the better side here. I'm not confident in Newcastle's ability, but they have been able to pull out light upsets this year, including against Burnley on the road. Watford feels beatable in this matchup, so I am very cautiously picking Newcastle to win. However, I would never recommend trusting Newcastle in your own picks.

Pick: Newcastle to win (4.987 on Betscorum.com). Confidence: 0

Brighton Hove vs. Everton

After a 5-1 victory on the road, Everton is hot and I believe they'll continue this form over Brighton. Brighton hasn't won in their previous four matches, and I believe they're just facing Everton at the wrong time. I really like Everton here. Look for Richarlison to get on the board with a goal early.

Pick: Everton to win (2.264 on Betscorum.com). Confidence: 5

Leicester City vs. Cardiff

Is there any team hotter than Leicester? Surely they will take care of business against Cardiff...at least I hope so.

Pick: Leicester City (1.578 on Betscorum.com). Confidence: 5

Tottenham vs. Wolverhampton

While Tottenham is the rightful favorite, the odds aren't good enough to take them, so I'm looking at the over. Tottenham has scored 13 goals in their past 3 matches, so I like the over here.

Pick: Over 2.5 goals (1.80 on Betscorum.com). Confidence: 3

Fulham vs. Huddersfield

Fulham has missed several opportunities to grab points, and they just can't lose here to Huddersfield if they want to avoid relegation. I like Mitrovic to score in a 1-0 victory for Fulham.

Pick: Fulham to win (2.101 on Betscorum.com). Confidence: 2

12/30

Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea

Chelsea took a small step back when they lost to Leicester last week, but they held on against Watford earlier this week and should easily be able to defeat Crystal Palace on the road this week. 3-1 Chelsea with an Eden Hazard brace.

Pick: Chelsea to win (1.741 on Betscorum.com). Confidence: 5

Burnley vs. West Ham

I doubted them earlier this week; I won't this weekend. Felipe Anderson and the Hammers will bring a lot of energy and their top form, having won 5 of their past 6, to Turf Moor. I predict a 3-1 victory for West Ham with a goal from Perez and Anderson for the Hammers.

Pick: West Ham to win (2.284 on Betscorum.com). Confidence: 5

Good luck this weekend! Please feel free to share your picks below in the comments!
