THE LAST NAME MIGHT LOOK FAMILIAR. Everyone knows Patrick Kluivert, striker for Ajax and Barcelona and coach for PSG, but his son, Justin, is not well-known for what his father was able to accomplish. Instead, his skill on the field demands recognition. In June of this year, young Kluivert joined Roma for almost €19 million, and it seems big things could be on the horizon. Like his father, Justin came through the Ajax youth system, making his first team debut in January 2017 at just 17 years old. The young winger likes to line up on the left, and while at 5’7” he may not be the biggest or the strongest player, he possesses dangerous pace. Kluivert loves to take on opponents with his great dribbling ability in a very direct attacking style, but is also a good passer and links up well with his teammates. He likes to play quick and is good at picking out his teammates making runs into the box. While his greatest strength is probably taking on opponents, Kluivert can also finish off a play on his own. Lastly, Kluivert has shown the desire to work hard defensively and will put in a tough tackle from time to time, something not often seen with young wingers. WATCH OUT, THIS YOUNG MAN IS ON A MISSION TO MAKE A NAME FOR HIMSELF.
