Antonine Griezmann has finally ended his speculative transfer throughout the summer window following rumoured move to Barcelona. The fight of Griezmann signature started way back in March when both side where fighting for the la liga title and well in the Champions league when it was leaked that Griezmann agent has agreed terms with Barcelona behind closed bar which Atletico Madrid lambasted both Barcelona and their forward for unprofessional conduct.

Before now, Antonine Griezmann had indicated interest to leave Atletico Madrid some two years ago but the transfer ban the club was handed over by the football governing body FIFA made him to reconsider his move. Ever since then, Griezmann has nit hidden his intention to play his trade elsewhere when in May he made a declaration in a Tv interview. It must be recalled the French international player last year had in the Tv interview made public his intention not to leave the Los Rojiblancos to calm media pressure on the team.

The World cup winner and French international player signed the dotted line which saw Barcelona pay a sum of £107m release clause for the centre forward for a 5 years contract agreement that will see him stay at Camp Nou till summer of 2024.
