It’s not arguable that Liverpool is the most informed team in European leagues and currently sitting pretty eight points on the English Premier League table. It can be recalled that the last trophy an average Liverpool faithful long to see arrive at Anfield is a trophy that has eluded them for almost three decades now and make them play second fiddles over the years to other less heard about teams in the 18’s and 90’s such as Chelsea and Manchester City. Haven gone through thick and thin, the club owners decided to experiment and find a lasting solution to that effect by bringing in the right coach at the right time with money to spend as he may wish. Today, here we are watching Liverpool gradually cruise to the EPL trophy.
We have seen clubs throw away good points margin on top of the log and no doubt the league is full of surprises but with the team Jurgan Klopp has assembled over the years of his patience and football philosophy, there are looking less likely to repeat certain mistakes of the past. Recall, the same team had to loose out on the EPL trophy with just a point to Manchester City on the final day of the league matches but dominated Europe in Champions League. However, with Liverpool on the driver’s seat once again this season and haven’t beaten the team that was supposed to stopped them to that effect yesterday, all road looks clear to them. Klopp boys will have no top four teams In the league to face in their next 7 games till they meet informed Leicester City in December ending, Getting all three points in these next 7 games against team below the mid table means that, Liverpool will have all 21 points in addition to their 8 points leads which will bring them to 34 games unbeaten in the league, 25 wins out of 26 games by December ending. With such points amasked, no team will stop them come next half of the season except they go on long injury run which is less likely with the number of players in the team.
Klopp has done his home work, lets watch and see him get paid for his patience.
