Life has been made in such a way that people live and exit the earth; day passes by to months and years. But one thing that must last is the record we keep in history achieves. Many sport men and women has graced football, some were good, some successful, few extraordinary while some were ridiculous. Today November 2nd, am dedicating this write up to celebrate, commend and reminds us some football record created in November. Please enjoy my little piece.l believe you will like it.

#0 November 7th 1987; three players score hat-trick

Three Manchester city players; David White, Paul Stewart and Tony Adeock are the only players to have scored hat-trick each in league match when they defeated Huddersfield Town and their new manager Malcolm Macdonald 10-1 in Division 2. This is an unbelievable feat.l wish the tapes of it was made.

#1 November 9th, 1997; a player received 3 red cards

Quite hilarious but true. Deans Windas in a match between Aberdeen and Dundee United at Tannadic park saw him shown three red cards in a match. Windas had gotten two bookings mounting to straight red card, this was followed by the second when he tried complaining to the referee Stuart Dougal and the third was on his way to the tunnel when he angrily descended on the corner flag. He was later banned for 6 matches and two weeks wages fine by his club.

#2 November 10th, 1954; first hat-trick in Wembley Stadium

Chelsea’s Roy Bentley three goals against Wales in England 3-2 victory was the first hat-trick by and English player in Wembley stadium during the British home championship.

#3 November 11th, 2006; First player to be jailed in a football match

How possible is this? Barrow defender James Cotterill punched striker Sean Riggs’s jaw into two places in their match with Bristol Rovers at Holkers Street in first round of FA cup game. He was sentenced to four months in prison when a court found him guilty of assault when match day footage was reviewed to see what seems to escape referee’s notice to become the first player in England to be jailed in football match.

#4 November 12th, 1921; first penalty hat-trick

Billy walker in a match for Aston Villa 7-1 win over Bradford City became the first palyer to score a hat-trick by penalty.

#5 November 18th 1905 Chelsea played two matches in a day

Chelsea was force to play two matches in day due to fixture congestion in their first season in football league. Chelsea first team defeated Burnley 1-0 at Stamford Bridge before going Southern where their reserves took on a non league side crystal palace and lost 7-1 in that match. This remains the worst FA cup result between a league and non-league teams.

#6 November 20th, 2004; Socrates played at 50

Socrates who was a former Brazilian world cup captain had to fulfil his dream of playing for and English club came out from 15years retirement to feature for only 12 minutes as substitute at the age 50 for Gardforth Town in Northern Counties East Football in a game that ended in 2-2 draw against Tadcaster Albion and he never played again.

#7 November 20th, 1971; a player scored 9 goals

In an FA cup first round match again Margete, MacDougal scored 9 goals for Bournemouth in a game they won 11-0.
