UEFA surprised many football fans on Tuesday when it announced a new competition in the continent. Of course, Europeans countries leagues are the most followed in the World especially the Champions League and Europa League which are the two main club continental football. The president of the association while speaking said that the new competition which will start in 2021 was created to give less traditional league s9me inclusion in EUFA as well as their associations. He announce the competition to be known as UEFA CONFERENCE LEAGUE

The tournament will features teams from less football nations in Europe and has been designed to be played on Thursdays same with Europa League but with earlier time schedule or depending in the time zone of host club. Only one team from premier league for example will be allow entry into the competition especially the Caraboa cup winners. But incase the winner made it to Europa league or Champions league, the 6th or 7th team on the table will go.

Winner of this. Competition earns an automatic place in Europa league while third place finishers in Europa league will move to UEFA Conference League just as the 3rd place in Champions league goes to Europa league.

This is a good move by UEFA in ensuring that teams from less heard or followed leagues in Europe are given a sense of belonging in the continental competition. We are going to see more tougher challenge for teams from these league as well will boost their financial revenue. More competition for bettors and fans to follow their team across Euro. The football tourism will also receive a boost from this.
