Croatia won the World Cup semi-final against England 2-1 after extra time. After 90 minutes it was 1: 1

England had already taken the lead in the 5th minute thanks to Kieran Trippier and remained goal-scoring afterwards. Only luckily Croatia keeper Danijel Subasic could prevent the next matches. After Ivan Perisic surprisingly equalized in the 68th minute, the tide turned: now England was extremely unsure and had to fear for a winning goal of the opponent. The decisive goal fell accordingly highly deserved in the 109th minute by Mario Mandzukic.
