It will be wednesday night when the World cup semifinal between Croatia and England will be played. England have dominated most of the games they have played this year and have been scoring heavy. The combination of the midfield and forward line have worked out well in their favour. What could possibly dent their chances is the Croatian Captain and midfielder Luka Modric and Barcelona star Ivan Rakitic.
At 32, Luka Modric will head the Team Croatia in what could be a life changing game for him. It only has been some 4 years when Modric joined Tottenham and since then there has been no looking back. Modric holds the midfield line with the upcoming star of Barcelona Ivan Rakitic who is a smart and intelligent ball maker for the forward push. It you ask for a pair which can penetrate the defence of England, Modric and Rakitic can prove a deadly combination in play making and may help Croatia create history in Russia. This World Cup so far has been more dominated by the underdogs and you never know when the World may end up surprised.
I will be supporting England as it is they who brought the game into existence and it is them who should take this cup back home. Let me know who's side are you on.
