Not everyone goes to watch live games at stadiums, sometimes due to distance and finance.

This in no way imply that those viewing on a television screen are missing out on the fun,No, the passion is still the same.

some that are far from england, spain, italy most often settle for television viewing.... Often in game houses or soccer centres, others prefer to sit at home and watch alone.

Watching a game in a soccer centre has its perks as well as its downsides.

Let us role the tape,on it's downsides.

Soccer center,Lagos Nigeria.

1.Offensive odour oozing out of the crowd: This issue can be frustrating, but the thing is, you are not in charge of hygiene for everyone that came to see the game and so you really have no say about how good they will smell or not.

The Nigeria vs argentina past world cup game comes to mind..... The hall was full to the brim, so much so that even if one decides to not watch the game and leave, the thought of stepping on people's feet and discomforting others as one decide to wiggle his way out is enough to just stay put..... And so it was that I had to endure for the whole duration of the game as a man with bad breath continued to suffocate me.... at some point I began praying nigeria stars don't do anything worthy of applause and uproar from the crowd, because then he will open his mouth an shout in unison and my torture will be heightened.

2. Baseless analysis and arguments: Some persons analyse sports and you wonder if they are fine mentally or they just wants to trigger response from people.

Chelsea game against Nottingham forest at the fa cup is a game in point..... There stood a fan for another team seriously saying chelsea are using their first eleven players and was pointing to the wrongness of that selection..... This was coming from someone that watches games of his team and other teams regularly, you will think he should know better, but was insistent.

Funny enough, chelsea supporters who will not have it, after trying to explain the wrongness of the assertion, went into a serious argument with him....well,it was just another day in a typical soccer center.

3.Bettors taking your peace away: These ones have staked for or against and so it is as though they are there to protect their investments, you see them shouting at the top of their voice hoping they don't lose their bets, and if they are on the losing end, then it will be galores of insults rained on the team.

Others will continue to disturb the guy next to them with phrases like"bro give me your phone, let me check live score please, they can bet regularly but somehow won't have money that is capable of accessing the betting sites.

I once had a run-in with one of these guys,he sat by my side and won't let me have a little quiet around me or listen to good commentary,he went on shouting and acting all hyper, when I emptied all endurance and patience left in me I called him out..... I asked how much money he had put into the game that you will not let us enjoy the game, others also did some tongue lashing on him that did shut his mouth for a little while.

4. The fanatics: For these guys you dare not see or say anything wrong about their team or their player even if your assessment is spot on..... You will think they get paid to protect their club against bad mouthing.

These set of guys have no respect for elders, they talk thoughtlessly or throw insults at your direction if they feel you said something against their team,as they tend to take anything said against their team very personal.

While supporting a club is ideal, going too extreme becomes a turn off, and that is what this class of people are about.

They remind you that if you don't like how they talk, rudely or not, you will have been better off watching the game at home because then you will not have to deal with their drama.

5.The toxic fans with nothing good to say about other clubs: These guys are all about their club and nothing a player for another club does catches their fancy, other club players are usually not good enough.

But if those same "not good enough" players get transfered to their club they automatically becomes world bests, and of course they have reasons why they have started hyping the player that much,it's only that when he was in the opposing team they had collective amnesia so they could not remember.

Football is a great sports, sometimes the activities that happens out of the pitch are very much dramatic as much as the ones in it, and supporters reactions are well in such mix.

If you have gone to see some games at game centres

what was the reactions there?
