On Wednesday evening, tomorrow, it goes for record champion Galatasaray against FC Schalke 04. In 2013 it went already extraordinarily well for the lions. I have made a small balance for you with the information I could find.
Galatasaray will remember the last duel against Schalke in Istanbul. The third matchday of the UEFA Champions League will be a groundbreaking Group D match. The Turks currently have three points on their books after they won their first home game, but recently went bankrupt. Galatasaray are one point behind Schalke (and leaders Porto). The Bundesliga side celebrated a late victory in Moscow on the final day of the match.
