Today, there will be a vote in Nyon on who will host the EURO 2024. The decision is made between the Turkish Football Association TFF and the German Football Association DFB.

It will be decided in Nyon / Switzerland on early Thursday afternoon which association will be awarded the contract for the hosting of the EURO 2024. For the European Championship in six years run two national associations. On the one hand the Turkish TFF, on the other hand the German DFB. At 13:00 (CET), the associations will once again officially present their applications to the electoral body. At 14:45 (CET), the final vote will be made as to who will host the European Championships.

Candidates are not allowed to vote

On the other hand, members of the Turkish and German federations will not vote. In addition, Swedish UEFA board member Lars-Christer Olsson is absent for health reasons. Consequently, apart from Servet Yardimci (Turkey) and Reinhard Grindel (Germany), as well as Olsson, the remaining 17 members will decide to whom the EURO 2024 will be awarded.
