Hey, hear it from me first. That dynamite of a kid. He was key to Lille toppling PSG and winning the Ligue 1 last season. He came to the just concluded Euros with his country Portugal and he was a force of nature in the midfield. I didn't find any like him, even Ngolo Kante was almost totally overwhelmed by his skill, speed and strength and guile. Amazing qualities in one player. He is as strong as abull and as skillful as a Maradona, yet he is much more. **I can authoritatively tell you that he is NOW A BARCELONA PLAYER, he has joined on a two year loan deal with an option of €35million to buy at the end of the deal.**

Sanches, 23yrs, burst into the scene with aplomb at a young age with his national team, when he was playing for Benfica,a big club in his home country. Bayern Munich took note and paid good money for him in July 2016,€35million. Sadly he never lived up to his billing in this mammoth club for reasons I think was not the fault of the player. He was sent on loan to Swansea City in England in 2017 and a year later(and after Swansea was relegated) he was back in Bayern. Bayern didn't see much of a promise in him during the loan spell and they deemed it fit to sell this Portuguese jewell to Lille in August 2019 for a fee of €20 million. This ofcourse represented a loss, but they were too eager to offload what they thought was like a "bone in their throat". Alas he found a home in Lille and in two seasons he helped them shokingly unseat PSG from the their customary position of finishing top in the league.

Congrats Renato Júnior Luz Sanches.
