WILLIAN

Ex-Chelsea winger and Brazilian international, Willian, looks set to quit Arsenal this summer.

According to reports, he would be following the steps of his fellow Brazilian counterpart, David Luiz who announced his exit a couple of weeks ago.

Willian's contract with Arsenal

After his move from Chelsea, the pacey winger signed a three year deal with the Gunners. However, he has been left unimpressed by the atmosphere at the emirates.

Without a doubt, the atmosphere at Arsenal has been awful. Most recently, they failed to make it to the Europa League final. After suffering a defeat to Unai Emery's Villareal.

As it stands, the Arteta led side also look set to break history negatively. Most probably, they would be missing out on European slots for the first time in over two decades.

Reasons for Willian's exit

Topping the explanations for Willian's potential exit is the poor run of form from the Gunners.

Secondly, Willian has also expressed dissatisfaction over his lack of game time, under current boss Mikel Arteta.

Compounding the above listed is the potential exit of a childhood friend and Brazilian brother David Luiz.

Clubs reportedly interested in Willian

According to reports, no club, in particular, has been mentioned as being interested in Willian. Nonetheless, statements suggest that a couple of European teams as well as Beckham's Inter Miami are interested in the Brazilian's services.

As it stands no proposal for the players has yet been made. However, it is expected they would come thick and fast after his intent has been clearly stated.

Stats from Willian this season

So far this season, Willian has only hit the back of the net once for Arsenal. A stat which shows how poor his season has been.

Still, the Brazilian has some positive to take from his assist records. He has managed seven while playing for the Gunners.

Conclusion

Without a doubt, the Arsenal team has been completely below par this season. The guess can only be that more stars would be exiting the club this summer.

Clearly, if Arsenal continues in this tempo, it can only get worst for the club.
