Previously, Arsenal opened the season by losing the first three matches of the season. However, with the recent turn of events, Arsenal is currently flying on all cylinders.

Norwegian playmaker Odegaard netted a free-kick to give the Gunners a one-goal lead. Nonetheless, there came a test for the Gunners on the 69th minute. Burnley was almost awarded a penalty.

In the 69th minute, Burnley had a penalty shout after Arsenal's Ben White's backheel pass was stolen by Burnley substitute Vydra. On seeing the incident, Aaron Ramsdale, Arsenal Goal-Keeper ran out to clear the mess.
However, on getting close to the ball, he was rounded by Vydra and eventually ended up tripping the Burnley man.
The referee on the day, Anthony Taylor, immediately sounded the whistle for a penalty.
Nonetheless, after the scene was reviewed by VAR, it was discovered that Ramsdale had a touch on the ball before the eventual foul. The penalty decision was then overturned.
That being said, it no doubt was a hard-fought victory for the Gunners. But it was great to see Arteta's men come out victorious.
