The Copa America tournament is getting more interesting as the competition proceed to semi final but what seems to be the most captivating of it is the fact that Argentina made their way through to the semi final after thrashing Venezuela 2 goals to nil yesterday. Goal from from Lautaro and Lo Celso sealed the semi final stage for the team.

Who knows maybe this is Lionel Messi year to win a major trophy at the national level but they still have lots of iron in the fire as the team will have to pass through almighty Brazil to get to the final. Wow! That sound so amazing because I personally can't wait to see the showdown.

Argentina yesterday lock it out with Venezuela in the quarter final of the tournament and the whole thing look so easy for them from beginning to the end unlike when the team face Colombia in their first game of the competition, Lionel Messi unlike he did against Qatar was able to connect well in the midfield and forced Venezuela to defend from the beginning of the game.

He doesn't took so long before Argentina take a step into the semi final, Lionel Messi delivered a beautiful corner kick into the box which Aguero shot at goal but was later converter into the back of the net by Lautaro in just 10 minutes of the first half. Venezuela couldn't attack much in the game because Acuña and De Paul really had a great time with the ball. Argentina dominate the game very well and didn't allow Randon to be a threat upfront for Venezuela.

After 30 minutes into the game, Venezuela try to change the game by providing some physical display and lots of challenges , both teams try to create more chances but still 1-0 separating the two teams in the first half of the encounter.

The second half begins and Argentina continue to dominate the game with a 1 goal lead and forcing the Venezuela players to sit deep at their own half while the team were only trying to kill the game on a counter attack. Hernandez had a chance to bring the game to level but Argentina goal keeper Armani provided a brilliant save to cancelled out the chance. That seems to be the only time Venezuela came close and it was the Albiceleste creating more chances to make sure the story didn't change in the last minutes.

De Paul in the 74 minutes delivered a beautiful pass to Aguero upfront but the hitman was so unlucky in the game as his shot was saved by Venezuela goal keeper Fariñez and was later converted by substitute Lo Celsius and that kill the game for the Argentine team.

The team will now face Brazil in the semi final to book a place in this year competition of the Copa America which will come up on 2nd of July, try and circle the date in your calender because the match is going to be a match tagged "Final Before Final."

If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best and that is what Argentina need to do in this competition, they have to face the test of the Brazilian team.
