It was a moan day for Juventus last week in the Italian serie A as they were defeated away from home in the hand of Verona which denied the club the chance to extend their lead in the league with a six points with Inter putting the pressure on them, Juventus would have be six points clear with a win in that encounter but Verona stunned them with a great come back in the game despite Juve hitting the back of the net first. Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri made no changes to the team that defeated Fiorentina 3 goals to nil and would have never for once think about such outcome against Hellas Verona despite the club occupying the 6th position on the log table with 34 points compared to 54 points from his team.

Juventus which have been dominating the league for awhile now is now facing the challenge from Conte men, Inter Milan and that makes the league a competitive one this season, the results in the league last week took Inter Milan to the top of the table with the same points with Juventus but with a goal difference of 7 goals. Hellas Verona are not too bad in the league and for Sarri to have stick to the team that won 3-0 against Fiorentina means Dybala was again left on the bench and looking at the game from the start, the host were so charged to the extent that they came close on many occasion to take the lead and it was such an open game anyway because Juventus on the other side were denied twice by the woodwork, Verona look so dangerous in the first half and had a goal been ruled out by the Video Assistance Referee when Kumbulla headed in Miguel free kick but was counted has an offside goal.

Verona goalkeeper had first denied D.Costa from puting Juventus ahead in the game while Cristiano Ronaldo shot also hit the woodwork as well as Higuain shot, the first 45 minutes witnessed so many chances most especially from the visitors but none of the team could break in before the half time with Ronaldo headed Juventus last chance in the first half off target and both teams had to settle for a goalless draw in the first half. Faraoni would have score for the host in just 10 minutes of play but Juventus goalkeeper guided the ball to a corner which would have also resulted in a goal for the home team when Pessina's effort was deflected away by Rrahmani. Juventus manager Sarri made a change in the early minutes of the to kill the game and that led to Dybala coming in to replace Higuain in the game and that gave Juventus the upper hand up front with the Argentina star creating more problem in the opposition box.

The goal finally came for the visitor in the 65 minutes in a record goal from C.Ronaldo to make it 10 goals in 10 consecutive serie A games, there was an exchange of passes between him and Bentancur before hitting a low shot past Silvestri in goal but the hosted were much more alive and never allows the goal to pulled them down as they responded to the gaol within 10 minutes to score 2 goals, Fabio Borini leveled the scoreline with a wonderful strike before Pazzini scored the second goal from the spot after Bonucci had been caught with an handball in the box and the final scoreline means Juventus has lost 3 of their last 5 away matches in the league. The league is now wide open between Inter Milan and the Old Ladys.

I will just like to tell the entire team of Juventus and their manager that if everyone is moving together in the same direction, then success take care of itself because looking at the league table, it is not only Inter that is challenging them for the title, Lazio is also on third position with only a point separating them from Juventus and Inter which means the Juve team still have a long way to go, I will also encouraged them with what Vince Lombardi says about success that

The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.

So they should continue to put in their best.
