I know many of us will not know this man just like i myself don't know him nor witness his action on the pitch but the fact that we can't do without history in other to understand the present is what actually propelled me to bring this up. If we are talking about football in the mid 19's, between 1967 -1981, then most of our fathers and mothers that really followed the round leather game within these periods will be able to give a precise explanation about Jean Adam because he was identified then as "Black Guard" in the central back alongside Marius Trésor for the French National team.

Jean-Pierre Adams was a French Professional player that play as a central back between the year of 1972 - 1976 for the France national team. Although, he originated from Africa soil, Senegal to be precise but left the country when he was at his tender age of 10 together with his grandmother for France in what seems to be an Holy journey and on getting to France, he was enrolled in Saint-Louis de Montargis, one of the local catholic school in Montargis and few years later he started playing football for some local clubs in that area.

He begins his senior career in the year 1967 with Fontainebleau and was with the club till 1970 before joining Nîmes between 1970 -1973 where he managed 88 appearances and scoring 8 goals for the club. Due to his performance, he was invited to play for the France national team in 1972 in preparation for the FIFA world cup in 1974 when he helped the country to win 1-0 against Soviet Union, he made 22 appearances for the National team between 4 years before retiring from international football.

He left Nîmes in1973 to join Nice and that is the club where he had the best of his football career according to stat, he made a total number of 126 appearances for Nice and also had 15 goals to his name with the club until 1977 when he left the club to join Paris Saint German(PSG) and also spent 2 years with the club. He also played for Mulhouse and Chalon before retiring in 1981 following a ligament injury. In 1982, he had to undergo a surgery for his ligament injury and that is where things fall apart for the French footballer who has been in coma for almost 37 years now.

Jean-Pierre Adams has been in coma since 1882 due to an error made by the doctor in charge of the surgery, he went to coma due to bronchospasm which makes his brain to lack oxygen and the doctor was made to paid a fined worth of $815 for the mistake. Jean Adam is still alive up till present but remains in coma and he is now 71 years of age while his wife Bernadette is still very much around him.

I hope you find this post interesting and educating until then I remain my humble self @oxygen02. Thanks For Reading 👍
