The English league returns tomorrow for the game week 23 and Manchester City will be at Eithad stadium to welcome Crystal Palace in what look like an easy fixture for the citizen after thrashing Aston Villa mercilessly last week in a game where Argentina striker Aguero stole the show with his hat-trick goal to break Alan Shearer’s 11 competitive hat-trick goals and also move ahead of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry in oversea top scorer but it will too early and fast to rule Crystal Palace out of the game because they are yet to loose a single game in their last 4 league matches while City on the other side has worked so hard to come back from their shocking defeat to Wolvehampton. All these together will make the game an interesting game to watch because anything can happen. Manchester City look like they have dropped in the title race as Liverpool continues to secured the maximum points in all of their games but it is obviously clear that they are back to mount the pressure on the Reds after winning all of their last 5 league matches. Manchester City last week find the game against Villa very easy as they defeated them 6-1 and will be full of confidence when they welcome Roy Hodgson side.

Manchester City

Once again, Aguero will be a player to watch out for in tomorrow's game when his side face a side that is yet to keep a clean sheet in their last 7 games in a competition. Pep Guardiola team is 14 points behind league leaders and still remain the second favourite team to win the league if Liverpool loose guide in the title race, Guardiola will once again may not make any changes to the side that whitewash Villa but may not be tempted to play G.Jesus upfront with Aguero, the former may likely come into the game as a substitute while Sterling and Mahrez will be available for the game. Pep don't have much injuries to deal with as most of his starting XI are fully fit for the game except for Laporte and Leroy Sane that are still out to injuries and may not feature in tomorrow game.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace don't look like a team that can stop Manchester City in tomorrow's game but yet, they can push them to the wall looking at their last 3 games, they have always shared the point with their last 3 opponents with the recent one against Arsenal and that is why Manchester City will have a lot of work to do if they want to secure the maximum point. Unlike Guardiola, Roy Hodgson will once again worry over his selection as many of his starting line up Sakho, Joel Ward, Schlupp, Scott Dann, Andros, Aanholt and Townsend are out to injuries while Benteke is still doubtful for the game. Milivojevic is still out due to suspension and Hudgson may have no choice than to turn to new loan signing Cenk Tosun.

Possible Line Up

Manchester City

Ederson, Walker, Fernandinho, Stones, Mendy, Rodri, D. Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Aguero, Mahrez

Crystal Palace

Guaita, Kelly, Tomkins, Cahill, Riedewald, McArthur, McCarthy, Kouyate, Ayew, Tosun, Zaha

Prediction

Manchester City remains the favourite to win this game looking at their last five meetings, the have won 3 and loose just once and sharing the point once, they have scored 12 goals in those meetings while Palace has just 4 goals. Their last three matches has provided averagely over 1.5 goals and both sides has failed to score a goal against each other dated back to Dec 31, 2017.

Tip: Manchester City 3 vs 1 Crystal Palace
