Manchester United continue to drop points in the league after another shocking result to Watford, Ole Solskjaer despite having the likes of C.Ronaldo, Fernandes, Pogba and other young talented stars in his team failed as a manager to place the club in a good position on the league table. The loss at Vicarage Road sees Manchester United dropping to the 7th position while clubs like Chelsea, and Liverpool continue with their impressive run.

Ole Solskjaer who joined the club in late 2018 seems to have succeeded more as a player in the red shirt than being a manager at the club, he helped the club to six premier league titles as a player, one UEFA champions league title, and two FA trophies. Looking at what he has done in the club since he was appointed to succeed Jose Mourinho, he was able to manage 14 wins in his first 19 matches and also qualify the club for the UEFA champions league competition after finishing in his first full season.

Following the club announcement on their official page that they have parted way with the Norwegian, former club player Michael Carrick will now take charge as caretaker until the club finally finds a replacement for Solskjaer. Micheal Carrick first game will be against high-flying Chelsea at Stamford Bridge before traveling to Villarreal in the UEFA champions group games.
