The battle between Manchester United and Arsenal has always been a battle of anybody win but this time around both teams had no choice than to settled for a draw and that makes Manchester United manager Ole Solskjaer surpassing the record of worst league start for over 30 years. United has always be the team to beat as far as the English league is concerned but they club loose that pride immediately Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down from managing the club. The search for who will succeeded him at the club has actually led to appointment of different manager within 6-7 season but with the current situation at the club now, it seems the search still continues.

United this season have not been really doing well and aside from the fact that they added some new faces to the team in the summer window, they are not really clinical in front of goal as most of their goals this season has come through the help of VAR, the team is currently occupying the 10th position now in the league which does not really define the club as far as the history of the league is concerned, they have been able to manage a win in their week one game against Chelsea and another win against Leicester city which was the only match won so far this season. The league is now in it's week 7 and United have only been able to gathered 9 points under Ole Solskjaer.

Solskjaer took charge as the manager of the club after he took charge from the special one Jose Mourinho and everything was going on well for the club immediately he became the interim manager for the rest of the season before the board finally announced him as the new manager of the club. What can we now say is the problem at the Old Trafford where lots of success record was recorded between 1997 and 2005? There is no better caption to give this club now than to say "lost glory at old trafford" and if things continues like this at the club, i don't see Solskjaer finishing the league with Manchester United.

It was a very boring game between both sides which we can labelled as one being poor in defense line and the other one being poor in attack, playing a draw may be a very good result for both clubs but with the current for of Liverpool and Manchester City in the league, both the Gunners and United still have a lot of iron in the fire. It was a match where VAR decision was really call into question for not awarding the penalty for United when the ball hit Arsenal man Kolasinac hand and Aubameyang goal was made to stand.

The first 40 minutes was not too good for both sides, although Arsenal made Manchester United goal keeper De Gea to made two saves in the first half but it was McTominay that put United ahead in the game before the half time and that was his first goal for the club but VAR decision was all the Gunners need to bring the game back to level. Aubameyang equalize for Arsenal in the 58 minutes and despite both teams pushing for a win, the match ended 1-1 and that makes it worst season so far that United will failed to pass 9 points in 7 league games. United will now visit Newcastle next week as the Gunners will be looming forward to host Bournemouth.
