Tottenham Hotspur, sleeping giant
As long as I have known, football stadiums have had a particular attraction to me. I have quite some knowledge about most of the stadiums in Europe, old and new. Every time a new stadium is planned and gets built I will try and check it out, online and if possible in real life.
But the last decade I have been disappointed about some new projects. Like the upgrade of the "Stade Velodrome" in Marseille or the Olympic Stadium in London that was modified for West-Ham United, for instance. They could have been built way better for the fans and especially for the atmosphere.
Now, from what I have seen now from the newly built White Heart Lane I am really, really flabbergasted. What an arena! I am just totally blown away. This stadium will set the new standard for football stadiums all over the world. Fans are so close to the pitch and still it is huge. Exactly 62062 fans will be able to watch Spurs with an impeccable view and in the best comfort.

White wall!
Especially the South stand, a single-tier stand for 17500! fans, is just a blessing for every true football fan. Following the "Gelbe Wand" of the "Signal Iduna Park", home of Borussia Dortmund, a White wall will arise behind the goal at the South side of the stadium. This will really create an amazing atmosphere for the true home fans.
I am looking forward to their first home game on this ground, a new era for football stadiums has been set.
