Bundesliga champion to-be looks pretty much decided as Bayern Munich(70 pts) pulls away from closest challenger Borussia Dortmund(63 pts), however, which other 3 clubs will join Bayern in next season's UEFA Champions League isn't clear cut yet as 4 clubs remain in the hunt. Just 3 points separate 3rd from 5th place, the 3rd place is being occupied by RasenBallsport Leipzig(59 pts) while 5th place Bayer Leverkusen(56 pts) is level on points with 4th place Borussia Monchengladbach(56 pts) but sits just outside the 4th available UCL spot with inferior goal difference.
If league form is anything to go by, then, Dortmund(W W L W W) is favoured to join Bayern in Europe elite competition. The good news is, 2 of the chasing pack also falters at the weekend.
With defeats to both Monchengladbach and Leverkusen, Bayern's place in next season UCL has been secured. however, mathematically they can still be pipped to the league by either of Dortmund or Leipzig(should both clubs win all their 4 remaining fixtures and Bayern loses all), though, it will take a catastrophic fall apart for Bayern not to get 6 points out off the available 12.
