Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte is once again proving so far to be one of the best managers in the game after he's guided the Nerazzurri to their 1st European final in 10 years(having last won the UCL under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho in 2009/10 season).

Inter Milan, on Monday night, whitewashed Spartahk Donetsk 5-0 to set a date with Sevilla in the final. Lautaro Martinez(19', 74') and Romelu Lukaku(78', 83') with doubles, while D D'Ambrosio(64') capped off the mauling.

Conte's fine season cannot be undermined having only taken over at the beginning of the season. He has guided Inter to their best season finish in ages after finishing 2nd on the Serie A log table, 1 point adrift of Champion Juventus, a team he once guided to a 3 consecutive Serie A title.

Alongside Conte's tactics, He has successfully rejuvenated Manchester United outcasts Romelu Lukaku and Alexi Sanchez while his array of one-time EPL stars such as Christian Eriksen, Ashely Young, Victor Moses etc have all been effectively galvanized.

It could be recalled that a few seasons back(2016-17), Conte, in his 1st season led Chelsea to the English Premier League title in a league dubbed to be hard, ergo, difficult for a new manager to come and win in his 1st season. However, Conte joined an elite group that did it at 1st time asking.

Conte still has to overcome a Sevilla side that has made Europa League her birthright in recent seasons having won 5 titles. The Spanish side overcame Manchester United 2-1 to reach the final. However, regardless of the outcome of the final, this is Inter Milan's best season since the Jose Mourinho era.
